Lina Galvez

CHW / Educator - Houston

Lina was born and raised in Colombia and graduated in 2001 as a Respiratory Therapist. In 2005, she moved to Houston, Texas, bringing with her not only her clinical background but also a passion for serving and supporting communities. 

Over the years, Lina has had the privilege of working with diverse, often underserved populations in roles including Preschool Teacher, Certified Nursing Assistant, Assistant Office Manager, and Community Health Worker. Each experience has strengthened her ability to connect with people, understand their unique challenges, and support them with compassion, dignity, and respect.

With her experiences, Lina hopes to bring new perspectives to Grameen America and continue her commitment to helping those in need in our communities.
